As to your question, a change of the forum colors hasn't come up prior to this. I will bring it up in the forums, and see if it's a more common issue than I realized.

Maybe I'm getting a bit old but I agree with the text being a bit hard to read. Maybe if you could bump up the font size a bit that would help readability without having to change to font color.
